The quotations still range from s}d to sjd. Every effort to establish a better price aid to minimise charges is, however, still being exerted, 1 and cannot fail of good result it we maintain the high standard of the meat we expert. Danedin-— The freezing -works at Bnrnside have been occupied daring the month with ft shipment of 4,876 carcases mutton for the sa. Tongariro, and 4,123 carcases, will be for the s.s. Rtmutaka» to arrive ; the s.«. Tainui will follow, taking, about 5,000 carcases. TfeHington.-rThe Arawa sailed for Lendea via Napier and Ly tteiton, on the 24th ulf. She took from this port 4,600 earetMi mutton, 1,100 piece* beef. The «.s. Tongariro, on the ,7.th instant, cleared f«r London witn 4,055 carcases mutton from this port.
