[PKB UNITED PBEBS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Jane 18 In the legislative Council the Colonial Secretary promised to consider the law re destitute persons, with a view to providing that wives possessed of property in their own right might be compelled to contribute towards the support of their husbands when necessary.
