THE QUEEN REFUSES THEIR RESIGNATION. [Abuts*'* T-lkobiks.J - London, June 10. Sixty-two of the Liberals abstained from voting on tke Budget question. ihe defeat of tbe Government has caused great astonishment on the Continent. An impression prevails at Home tbat the Government courted defeat so as to prevent a disruption ia tho Cabinet. Thr Radicals are ju-ilant over the result of the motion. It is believed that Mr Gladstone irili conduct an election campaign. Received June 13, 1.30 a.m. i London, June 12. The Times this morning states Hn Majesty the Queen has declined to accept the resignation Mr Gladstone and his colleagues, without being furnished with further reasons for their retirement.
