HALCOMBE AND SHERWILL'S REPORT.
We held a very good sheep sale on the 14th instant :— We yarded 2000 Napier sheep, the whole of which we sold at the following rat*--:— Ewea (culls). 5a 3d to sa4»d; freak fuil mouthed ewe*, 7* 6d ; 2 aftd 4 toothed rami, brad by Mr Tanner, of rTawke'a Bay. £1 10*. Local sheep— 704 yarded. Prieea realized :— 2 tooth wether*, 8* 3d; fat wether*, 10a and lis Pigs — small porker*, 10s. No cattle were yarded. At Aabbnrat, on the 15th instant, we held a small sale of about 70 hend of -cattle and 200 sheep. Prieea real ised : - Weaners (mixed), 17a ; 2-year-old cattle (mired), £1 Hs 6d; 3-year-ateera, £4 10a fld ; yew-linge (go«d) and 18 month* tid, £1 to £1 7a 6d ; oi steer*. £3 5s J 18 ■Maths ateera, £_• 3s fld.
