Rangitikei-Manawatu Poultry and Produce Society
A meeting of the Feilding members of this society was held at Mr Bray's office on Saturday erening last.- The attendance was not large, only about eight members being present. Mr Sherwill, vice-president of tho society, presided and read a poet card from the president, Mr Retemeyto, stating that a general meeting, of the society would be held at Bulla on the 19th inst., when the plaoe and time ef the next show would be r considered, and suggesting that the -feilding branch of the society send, a deputation to said general meeting. Mr Nicholas proposed, and Mr Reading seconded, That the next showbe held at Feilding if possible, and that Mr Sherwill be appointed the deputation to the general mooting, with instructions to endeavour to carry out tho proposal of the Feilding members. — Carried. On the suggestion of Mr Sherwill it was agreed that in the event of the next show being held in Feilding, Mr E. Goodbehere he appointed the secretary for the same. It was understood that anothec meeting would he called soon after Mr Sherwill's return from the general meeting for the purpose of receiying his report, fto. There being no other .businesa tha meeting then adjourned.
