[bRVTKB's TELEGBAMS. j Ottawa, May 16. I Advices to hand from Saskatchewan state that the insurgent leader, Louis Riel, has been captured by Major-Gen-eral Middleton. Sydney, May 18. A telegram te hand frem Louth, a towa on the Darling River, announces that the police arrested a man named Ross at that place, suspected of being concerned in the robbery at Horsham (Victoria) branch of the London Chartered Bank of Australia last year when nearly £6030 in note* and gold were abstracted from tbe bank safe between noon on Saturday, the Ist March, and Monday mernmg, the 3rd March. Ross had a credit balance at the bank of £390 when arrested.
