♦ • A general meeting of the Feilding Football Club was held at the Denbigh Hotel last night, Mr SherwiH presided. The minutes of the last general, meeting were read and confinned. Tnebalancesheet whichshowe 1 a deficiency in the funds of the club oi £1 17s Bd, was adopted. The following gentlemen were elected officers of the club '.-^-President, H. L. Sherwill, Esq., captain, A. D. Thomson, secretary and treasurer, H. Halcombe. A oommittt* Was elected consisting of Messrs A. D. Thomson, F. Boe, G. Brsji jiin.i W. Halcombe, E. Goodbehere.— Arrangements for practice will be made by the committee. The . meeting then adjourned.
