Proposed by Mr E. Goedbehere, seconded by Mr Gichard, That Mr Mountfort be appointed surveyor to the Association, and that the secretary obtain the necessary approval of the Government to such appointment. — Carried. Proposed by Mr Goodbehere, seconded by Mr Betemeyer, That the first deposit of 7£d per acre for survey be paid to the secretary on or before the 20th May next, and the balance in three equal instalments at intervals of three months from that date, and that all members who have not paid the first instalment on the date mentioned will have their names erased from the list. — Carried. Besolved, That an additional 2s 6d per member for preliminary expenses oe at once called in, and that this resolution be advertised in the local Proposed by Mr Beading, seconded by Mr Betemeyer, That the secretary ' write to the Minister of Lands asking him what prospect there is of a road being made leading to the block . selected by the Association. — Carried Alter agreeing that the committee meet at the secretary's office on Friday evening next at 8 o'clock the meeting • terminated with the usual compliment to the chairman,
