A meeting of the Association wai aeld,^'according to announcement, h the Town HaU Tut evening. Betweei 30 and 40 members were present. Mr Gosling, chairman of the com mittee, presided, and called upon the secretary/Mr C. Bray, junr., to rea<3 the minutes of the hut meeting, whidb being- read were confirmed. • The secretary then read the letter received from the under secretary oi the Minister of Lands, with copies of the regulations, amended to extend the privilege of purchase to 150 acres each member, and stating that the blocks bind selected by the Association had hison valued at 20s per acre, with -ether instructions. Proposed by Mr E. Goedbehere, seconded by Mr Gichard, That Mr Mountfort be appointed surveyor to the Association, and that the secretary obtain the necessary approval of the Government to such appointment. — Carried. Proposed by Mr Goodbehere, seconded by Mr Betemeyer, That the first deposit of 7£d per acre for survey be paid to the secretary on or before the 20th May next, and the balance in three equal instalments at intervals of three months from that date, and that all members who have not paid the first instalment on the date mentioned will have their names erased from the list. — Carried.
