Ihe cargo of frozen mutton, ex Lusitania, has been landed in good order, and is realising 4£ per lb. ■•-•■■ Lady Norpiunby died on Monday night. Her Ladyship has been suffering severely from bronchitis and an affection of the heart. Dr James, of Melbourne, was her medical attendant. <•» The Marquis of .Normanby is also unwell. Capetown, January 28. The sub-committee of the Reichstag, appointed to consider the proposals to subsidise certain lines of mail steamers trading from German ports, have recommended the adoption. of the projected line to Australia, but rejected the one to Samoa.
