The Bank of New Zealand was fined the lowest penalty of L5O for a technical breach of the Mining Machinery Act in not renewing the license held by the bank fur crushing. It has been ascertained that Sheehan, the suspected murderer, has had L 365 to his credit in the Bank of New Zealand since his arrival here, and allowed it to remain on deposit till he purchased a farm.
