At Ashurst we yarded 91 head of e?ttle. Kain fell hearily all day. The sheep adrertised could not come forward owing to the weather. At Feilding we yarded 284 head of cattle and 1,497 sheep. Nearly the whole of the cattle were sold under the hammer. The atteqdance was good and the bidding brisker than we have known it for some time. The prices realized gave entire satisfaction to the vendors, in most instances being over reserres. We were unable to quit the ewes and lambs (600) owing to the reserve being somewhat above market value.
