A Prisoner Jumps from a Train
♦ [PEB UNITED PBEBS ASSOCIATION.] Ashbubtoh/Tlus Day. An escapee from the Burnham Beformatory named James Wright was recommitted to the institution at the Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday morning. While proceeding by train to Burnham in charge of a constable, and when about a mile and a half from Ashburton, Wright jumped from tho carriage, and sustained a severe fracture of the skull. He how lies at the hospital here in a rery preoarious eon iition.
