An escapee from the Burnham Beformatory named James Wright was recommitted to the institution at the Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday morning. While proceeding by train to Burnham in charge of a constable, and when about a mile and a half from Ashburton, Wright jumped from tho carriage, and sustained a severe fracture of the skull.
