At the same time a person named Robert . hompson disappeared, and it was geuerally thought there was a connection betwoen the suicide and the disappearance. Yesterday the body of a man. partially suhmerged in the sand, wadiscovered at low tide on a mud bank in t e lagoon. The l-ody had evidently been ■ii water a long time, and trom its state of decomposition it was impossible to recognise him, but from the dress it is •supposed to be Thompson.
