[PEB UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Sept. 16. The North Island Trunk Railway Route Committee held its seepnd-rmeet-ing to-day, the Hon. W. G^Ricluudson, Minister of Public Works, being chairman, when the following witnesses were examined:— -Mr J. W. A. Marchant, Chief Surveyor, and Goipmisi'ioner of Crown Lands, Wellington-;-Mr-R.
