Dr Moran, Roman Catholic Archbishop Designate of Sydney, arrived to-day and was accorded a great reception by large crowds who bad assembled to welcome him. Addresses were presented and special services held at the Cathedral. Albany, September 8. Arrived, this afternoon,, the P. A serious outrage bas been committed in the Northern Territory by a tnbe of blacks, wbo attacked a party of copper miners, killing one and wounding two dangerously. Tbe Duke of Manchester, wbo is visiting the Northern Territory, was only twenty ' miles from tbe scene nf tbe outrage at the time. Tbis Day. Tbe police are pursuing tbe blacks in the Northern Territory who recently attacked a party of miners. The Duke of Manchester is still in the locality. Melbourne, This Day. More cases of small pox are reported from various places in the country.
