Wellington, This Day. In the Honse to-day Mr Fulton proposed, and Mr Macandrew seconded, the nomination of Sir Maurice O'Rorke as Speaker. He was elected unanimously. Major Aikia*on congratulated him on his appoint ment. The House ad j- -timed until 2.30 tomonow, when Major Atkinson intimated that he would make a ministerial statement, as to what com so the Government would adopt.
