. «. — (feom oub own cobbespondbnt) Bulls, July 30. The adjourned annual meeting of parishioners of St. Andrew's Church took place on Tuesday, the 29th inst. The Eev. J. C. Dodwell presided. The minutes of... the previous annual meeting having been read and confirmed, Mr Harper read the annual statement. The receipts were LIOO, made up of offertories an,d proceeds of entertainments, and the expenditure was L9l, of which L 35 had been paid off the debt on the church, which now stands at L 42. The timber for lining the building, etc.. has also been paid for, so that the new vestry wilt not have much difficulty in finishing the church during the current year, and having it free from debt. A balance of L 9 ia left to begin the new financial year with. The audi'ors expressed satisfaction at the clearway in which the accounts had been kept, and the balance-sheet prepared. The Rev. J. C Dodweli nominated Mr Horrocks as curate's churchwarden. Mr Harper was unanimously re-elected parishioner's churchwarden. The following seven gentlemen were elected as vestrymen : — F. J. Mansell, G. C. Dunnage, H; J. Baddeley, H. Sopp, P. D. Mawdesley, L. C. Richards, C. E. Nicholas. A vote of thanks was passed to the retiring vestry, the members of the choir, and those ladies who had worked so zealously in the church's cause during the past year. Mr Bydder proposed and Mr Mansell seconded, That a hearty vote of thanks and confidence be accorded to the fiev. J. C. Dodwell, who so ably ministers in the beautiful services of the grand old Church of England, of which every Britisher is proud. - Carried unanimously. The meeting was closed with the benediction. Mr Harper then took the chair, and asked for nominations for synodsmeu, when it was proposed and seconded that Mr A. E. Levett and Mr J. R. Harper be sjnodsmen for the next term. — Carried. The large gathering then dispersed.
