Messrs Stevens and Gorton report — At our sale at Bulls, on tlie 17th instant, we yarded about 150 bead of cattle and re irly 2,000 sheep. The bidding h; •attle was dull, but we were able to quit a few head under the hammer and some lots after. Several lots of sheep fell under the hammer and some were disposed of after, at the following rates : — Mixed rattle, £1 ls 6d ; 2-yr-old steers, rather lean in condition, £2 2s 6d ; Romney ewes, 9s 9d ; ewes in lamb, from 5s 9d to 8s 9d ; wethers. 7s ld to 8s 3d ; fat wethers, 10s to lis 3d ; fat sheep, 9s 9d ; lambs, 4s 6d to 5s 2d.
