The Australians went in first, and were all ■ lis posed of for 91; The bowling of the Home team was excellent, and dead on ihe wicket. The highest scorer was Giffeu, c 19 When the stumps were drawn for liie day the Honie team had lost six wickets for 187 runs. In the cricket match, Hornley made ' 94, caught ; Barnes, bowled, 67.
