+. — — (BEUTEB's TELEGBAMS.) London. Jnne 12. The Australians team commenced ft cricket match- to-day against the representatives of Nottingham County, at N* tin -*b am. The following are the name* of the local team: — Wright, Attewell, Barnes, Flowers, Green, Scotton, Selby, A. Shaw, Sherwin, Shrewsbury, and W. Wright. There was a large attendance of spectators, and the weather was splendid. The ground was in good order, and an excellent wicket had been prepared. The H ome team went in first and scored 170. Barnes, bowled, 33, was the highest scorer. The Australians then went in for their first innings, and when ihe stumps were drawn for the day had lost two wickets for 44 runs ; Giffen, not out. 22.
