' ' : Melboubne, M ay 30 ■ The hearing of the OrientaJ Bank -case was concluded at the Supreme Court to-day, but judgment was postponed. The report of the Melbourne: Frozen Meat Export Company; presented at the annual meeting yesterday, showed a small profit for the past year's business. The Queensland Parliament will, meet iorddespacn of business' on July 8* Griffith, the Premier, in reply to a deputation which waited on him yesterday, stated, that, during next session of Parliament, the Government would endeavor to pass a law sufficiently stringent to put a stop to the influx of French .criminals to Queensland.
