Salvation Army

Captain Wilkinson conducted a meeting in the Wesleyan Church, Grey street, last evening. The building was crowded. Besides the above-named, the Revs. Clover and Kollnvr, and ono or two laymen delivered addresses. We are informed that three converts were made to the army. We are very sorry to have to report that the proceedings were considerably interfered with by some larrikins, who not satisfied with making themselves supremely ridiculous by certain idiotic pranks, actually ondagered the safety of several persons by throwing stones abou the door of the church. As the army will hold a meetimr a£«»m this evening in the Primitive Methodist Chinch, wo would take the opportunity of saying that the " little games" of last night aro reported to Constable Gillespie, who is determined to find out the perpetrators, and use the stringent measures to prevent sueli unseemly and illegal conduct in future.
