Produce.— The holidays bave somewhat unsettled business, but while wheat ' has had a tendency downwards, oats have improved, and barley is meeting with fair enquiry. The prices quotable are for wheat, 3s 5d f-o.b. for sound qualities of Tuscan and Pearl ; other sorts 3s 3d f.o.b. at Lyttelton. Flour remains at £9 lOs -por ton; oatmeal £11 per ton. Oats at 2s 3d for milling, and 2s for feed samples. For barley. 3s 9d to 4s. Cheese is quoted at 3sd per lb; butter (salt) prices are maintained at9d to lOd. Hams and bacon, s|d per lb.
