An application/ purporting to be signed by Col. Maurice Pinchover, has been gent to the United States Patent Office for a patent for an adjustable dop-'s tail. The application claims that all dogs, who, either by nature or accident, are minus a tail encountergreat difficulties in turmap -sharp corners, as. their center of fcrAvity is thrown too near the forelegs and they consequently have to g-<> alow or lose tbeir balance..
