Oats still rule from 2s 4d to 2s 6d for fair to prime samples. ' -atmeal, good enquiry, £12 10s Flout, lead-ng brands, £11, other qualities, £10 ;to £10: lOs. An excellent demand is anticipated for good whole fowls' wheat at from 2s lOd to 35,; seconds quite unsaleable ; bran, £4 ss; pollard, brisk enquiry at £5; wheat meal, .£l3 ; maize, rather scarce at 3s 9d; fowls' barley* 2s 8d to 2s 9d ;>heansi 3s 9d ; .-nions. market full, £6; potatoes) from 55s to 655 ; cheese, sd ; hams and bacon, 9d to 9£d all round of good Canterbury cure- Not a great quantity of froit. has been offered, therefore prices on all kinds have been well maintained. Apples, from 4s to fls; pears, 7s tol2s.> Fowls are not much enquired for. and rdle 3d per pair lower: turkeys 4s 6d each; geese 3s each ; «_»»» 1« 10d.",.'
