Volunteer Dress Regulations
The followine extract from a circular letter dated at Wellington, 26th March. is published for information : — On all Government parades, guards of honor, and drills (unless otherwise ordered) the crimson sash is to be worn by officers and non-commissioned officers of such rifle corps as are proprived with uniforms of the Imperial pattern. On company parades, rifle practice, judging distances drill, &c, (unless otherwise ordered) a black patent pouch and white belt is to be worn. Officers in possessioa of brown leather belts will be permitted to wear them out till replaced. Officers desirous of providing the full dre<s sash or pouch and belts, &c, for levees or evpning full dress, may do so, and will be permitted to wear tliem ; bui the bolts, &<•., are on no pretence whatever to be worn on any parade or duty.
