London, March 20. A large influx of gold, amounting to £750,000, from North America, has taken place. Bomb, March 20. A political crisis has arisen here in consequence of the Ministry having been nearly outvoted in the Chamber of Deputies, and Signor Depretis and his colleagues have to-day tendered their resignations to King Humbert. The French intend to occupy the islands of Obusla and Jerish, in the Red Sea. It is rumoured that Prince N apoleon has issued a manifesto and fled to Switzerland. Mr Parcels, speaking at Edinburgh, said that the federation of the Australasian colonies was imposible without the establishment ef a Parliament of Canada, the existing colonial Legislatures continuing to legislate local affairs. The French will probably seize a portion of Chinese territory, pending the payment of a heavy war indemnity.
