HALCOMBE AND S HER WILL'S STOCK REPORT. At our sale of stock held at Feilding on the 6th instant the attendance was very good, and the bidding fairly brisk. Prices realized — Beef (small), £5 12s 6d ; three-year-old steers, £4 15s (offi-red and refused) ; 18 months steers, £2 6d to £2 8s 6d ; two-yearold steers, £2 16s; cows, dull of sale; milch cows, none offered ; yeariing3, £1 12s 6d; fat sheep, 10s (offered and refused) ; store wethers, 8s 6d; ewes (full mouthed), 5« 6d (indifferent lot); ewes (2-tooth), 7s 9d to 8s; store ewes, 8s ; lambs, 5s 6d; hacks, £9; purebred Romney ewes (full mouthed), 10s ; Major Willis' Romney ewes (full mouthed), Jos; Major Willis' Romney rams, £3s 3s each ; Messrs Bryce and Morrison's pure-bred Lincoln ram 3we were unable to quit; Mr Pharazyn's rams brought l£ to 3 guineas ; prices of stock generally are si ill in favor of purchasers. We yarded, cattle, 200 head ; sheep, 1300.
