St. John's Church
The second annirersary commemoration service was held last evening it St.jJojbn's 'Jhurch. The service was conducted b/ tho Rev Joshua Jones, of Feilding, assisted by the Rer Mr Toojjood, of Marton, and the Her .\! r Parkes, of Turakina. The attendance was rery good. The Rer Mr Toogood preached .a most eloqnent sermon on the life of St. John the Apoutle. The service was choral. The anthem was remarkably well rendered. . A collection in aid of the Sunday school building fund wan made at the conclusion of the proceedings, and was liberally responded to. ,
