School Anniversary

The anniversary services in CO' nection will) the Feilding Primitive Metaodist Church took place on Sunday last. Mr Gordon Forlong, of Bulls, delivered two earnest and impressive discourses to larj;e congregations. In the evening especially, the church was crowded, there being no service held in the Wesleyan Church, according to arrangement between th«two bodies on anniversary occasions. Yesterday afternoon the annual picnic to the scholars took place in Mr BakerY paddock in Canipden street. The children were regaled with tea, cakes &c, and various games were indulged in The teachers and a number of friends also partook of tea, after which one or two persons delivered addresses to all present. A very pleasant afternoon was spent, nnd altogether we should say the anniversary was a very successful one.
