The War in Soudan
(beuteb's teieobams.) London, February 7. Five hundred sailors and marines on board tbe troopship Orontes have been ordered to Souakim. Government has ordered the transport ol troops from Aden to the Egyptian ports on the Gulf of Aden, ! tor garrison duties. Received February 9, 1.10 a.m. London, February 7. Despatches have been received from Baker Pasha slating that dissatisfaction among the natives in the neighborhood of Souakim increasing, ani that the rebellion is spreading among the desert ! tribes. It is expected that a rapid attack will be made upon Souakim, but Bakar Pasha hopes to be able to defeat the enemy with the troops at his command. Despatches also state that in the recent | battle near Tokar tbe Arabs loss was 600 killed, besides wounded.
