» " ; ■ An ordinary meeting of the Board was held in the Manchester Koad Board's office yesterday afternoon. Present — Messrs Taylor (chairman), Williamso", j Davies, and Bryce. I The minutes of the previous meeting j were read and confirmed. | The following correspondence was then j wed : — Oroua County Council re Cheltenham 7 Cross Koad; Treasury Department, re deferred payment monies; Public Works Office, ye grants. After a long discussion it was proposed by Mr Brjtee, seconded by Mr William- ' aoa, Thai; tenders be called for forming a _ portion of road feeding to Mr Bryce's l y property.— Carried. An estimate from the engineer of tbe cost of certain works wa"s read. The following tenders were accepted:— Wilson's roSsd, Younger and Laing; Sinclair's Line, Nos 1 and 3, J. Aitken ; No 2, Younger aud Laing; Perry and Mcßeth' s road, Nathan aad Co. '...■ Accounts amounting to £45 16s 8d . were passed for payment. Atter the signing of the debentures re grants under the Roads and Bridjes Construction Act the Board adjourned.
