A Shooting Case in London
- m r— An extraordinary shooting affair took place in Fall-mall, London, at half-past six on the evening of the 12th November last. A policeman on duty near the Guard's Monument taw a man shoot a gentleman at he was passing by. The •mWipmediately seized the man, who WSB in possession of a six-chambered nvolver. fire chambers afterwards being fojund to be leaded. The wounded • gentleman and the prisoner were taken to an adjoiniag police-ntation, when it was f««nd that the former had been shot in the leg, and shortly afterwards, the in> juries net, Apparently, being serionn, he wis eonTeyed home. The prisoner, who appeared to have been drinkine heavily, t«fused to give any account of himself.
