The Revenue Returns
(per united press association.) Wellington. This day. The Customs revenue collected last month in the colony (with the exception of Tauranga) amounts to £"102,789 12m lOd. The sum collected for the corresponding month last year was £1 13,290 7s 2d. The receipts for the quarter just ended are below the average required to make up the estimated amount for tbe year. It is expected that the falling off will be pulled up next quarter, which is usually tbe best quarter of the year.
