. m> I, A general meeting of the members of the Feilding Jockey Club was held at the ,- Denbigh Hotel on Saturday evening last . • Pretest— Messrs Kirton (in the chair), Seaten, Rowley, Lightbourne, Hastie, Morphy, Fearon, C. Roe, senr., Mayhew, Curtis and Jackson, secretary. Dr Lightbourne was proposed and •elected at a member. The secretary read the minutes of tbe hut general meeting, which were con--.£rmed, ; He. also read a report ofthe transactions the club for the past sea- . son, which will be published in fall after the next meeting. Mr Beaton proposed, and Mr Roe, senr., : .. geconded, That the secretary be instructed to forward a copy of his last letter to M r ■ Pollock requesting an immediate reply ; ■ failing such reply, , -that he call a special general meeting of the club to consider M^PbUdek's disqualification ; also, that a copy of the foregoing resolution be forwarded to Mr. Pollock.
