Balclutha, This Day. A pretty severe shock of earthquake was felt here at 12.45 p m. Invehcaegill, This Day. A very severe shock of earthquake occurred at 12.45 p.m. It lasted for two minutes, direction apparently east to west, and vibrations were experienced at two distinct intervals. Articles in the shops were swayed about in an alarming manner, but so far as is known no damage was done, ihe weather is overcast and threatening rain.
