Considerable excitement was occasioned at Hay, IN.S.W.,by a shocking occurrence which took place on 13th November at a selection near the town. A labouring man, known as Jimmy Work, employed in renewing the slabs in a deep well, was suddenly overtaken by a sanddrift, which buried him up to his neck.
