Kiwitea Road Board

A meeting of the above Board was held at Feilding this afternoon. Present - Messrs Taylor (chairman) Williamson, Davies, Bryce and Bt'llve. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The following correspondence was read —J. Saxon asking permission to foil bush on road line No-. 10-section. Harbor Block. Several ratepayers requesting aiteratioris of names or numbers on roll. Kesolved, That the requests for alterations on roll be granted. Bi'solved,* That Mr Saxon be given permission to clear a road line, as far as the road is surveyed, at £2 per acre. A reply from the Public Works Officp to the applicaiiou of the Board for £3473 under the Bonds and Bridges Construction Act was then read. It was to the effect that the application would be granted on the Board's compliance with the Act. [The Board was sitting when we went to press.]
