♦ sbutib's tklegbxms. Bbisbanx, Nov. 17. The captain, second mate, and two of the crew of the labour schooner Alfred Vittery, have been arrested for the murder of a Kanaka on board at sea. Adelaide, November 17An experienced reporter estimates the yield of wheat to be from 8 to 10 bushels of good plump grain. A Chinamau named Wah Poo has been hung for the murder of a countryman. Stdnkt, November 19. The Hon. F. Whitaker, Premier of New Zealand, who arrived here by the P.M.S. Zealandia. proceeds to Melbourne to meet Major Atkinson, and return with him to attend the Conference on the Pacific Annexation question.
