Cairo, November 14 It is reported that another detachment of Esjptain troops, which was stationed at Suakim, a seaport on the Ked Sea, and the scene of the massacre of Egyptain troops by the Hillmen on the 29th ult., have been attacked and routed with I heavy loss by the rebels. London, November 14. A race has been arranged from Plymouth to Queensland between the yacht Vestal, and the ship Northern Monarch. The vessels will sail on the 24th in3t. The Morning Advertiser considers that Australia has made out a splendid case for the annexation of the New Hebrides, in order to prevent the establishment of a foreign convict settlement there. A large number of English manufacturers have arranged to exhibit at the Calcutta Exhibition. Mr Healy, M.P , speaking at Limerick, insisted on the abolition of landlordism. Cricket matches have been arranged by Kent and Derby against the Australian Eleven. It is reported that the Premier of Madagascar has been murdered, and that a son of the former Quean has succeeded to his office. Received Nov. 17. Belgrade, Nov. 15. Intelligence has been received fiom official sources that the outbreak at Kruchwatz, in South eastern Servia, has been promptly quelled by the troops dispatched against the rebels. The latter were unable to cope with the large force sent to attack them and dispersed with* out resistance. Keceived November 17. 1. 10 p.m. Constantinople, Nov. 15. The difficulty which lately arose between the Russian Government and Prince Alexander, of Bulgaria, has now been amicably arranged. Terms of settlement provide that a Russian is to be again appointed to the position of Bulgarian War Minister, but that he shall abstain from taking part in Bulgarian politics. London, Nov. 16. Baron Lesseps was entertained at a public banquet at Liverpool last evening. In a speech in reply to the toast of his health, Le»seps expressed himself most hopeful of a settlement being ar< ived at for the construction of a second canal through the isthmus of Suez.
