(PEB UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Invebcabgill, This Day. A rumour, which is apparently well founded, has been circulated here to the effect that two children, named Fraser, I have been killed by lightning at the Gap lioad Station, on the northern line, and about 17 miles from town. The parents are alsa said to bave been either injured by the lightning or to have been prostrated by the calamity to their children. The storm was unprecedented in its results in this district, telegraph poles being split, and the telephones in the town were charged with electricity, and the bells jo the various offices were ringing frequently. A man named Crisp also had the inner side of one of his legs distinctly marked with the representation of a tree.
