Feilding State School

The monthlr meeting of the School Committee was held' in the school house last evening. Present— Thompson (chairman), Foster (secretary), Waits, Towier, and Worsfold. ■ The minutes of the last monthly meeting and special meeting, were read and confirmed. The master's report of attendaiice for the four weeks ending Celober26, and also of irregular scholars for the year from ■ ctober 18S2 to September 1883 inclusive, wtis presented and read. The chairman reported lie had accepted ' the offer of the Board of the services of aa assistant temporary te&crier nnlil the arrival of Mrs Redman. It was resolved. That the resolufioa passed at the meeting held on the 7th of Septembers Vlias Diamond be rescinded. After some conversation or the subject of the report of irregular attendant, it was resolved to place the report in the hands of the Truant Inspector for the district. An account from Mr Sjwarin? for fencing w:is received, and it was resolved to pass the .«ame for payment, subject to the approval of the eli*iraiaa and Mr Bray. Other accounts amounting to £2 vere passed for payment, and the Committee then adioornt-d. ■
