The ship Turakina, outward bound for Auckland, when leaving the docks, collided with the quay, and sustained damago of so serious a nature that she has been compelled to return and discharge cargo in order to repair damages. The trial of O'Donnell for the murder of James Carey has been postponed until next month. Intelligence is to hand from Canton that preparations to block (sic) that port are being made by the Chinese authorities.
