School Examination.
The annual examination of the Feilding State School by Inspector Foulis concluded on Friday, at 5 p.m. The following shows the names of scholars who passed in the »-arious standards : — Standard 1 : 52 presented, 33 passed. Stand'ird VI: Alexander Johnston and Margaret Bartholomew were the only two presented, and both passed. Mrs Jones assisted in the inspection of j the needlework, which gave much satisfaction. The singing of the children was | sweet and in good tune, and the drill of the boys very good. The whole results J of the examination, especially considering the short handedness of the staff, was highly satisractory, and reflects.^ great credit upon the muster, Mr Dowliug, and his assistant teachers.
