CAPTURE OF THE THIEF < betjtbr's telegrams. Melbourne, September 24. The robbery at the Commercial Bank if now fully explained. The police, findiug that Richard Corbett, a bootmaker (sic), the Bank caretaker's son, could not be found, prosecuted inquiries. The police found Corbett m an hotel parlour. Upon taking him up stairs, however, three bars of gold were found in. the coat pocket, also a loaded revolver. The police are confident that they will now be able to recover the missing bars.
