Another consultation on the Melbourne Cup is announced in another column. Fresh tenders are invited by the Borough Council for formation works within the Borough. Messrs Dwan and Co., auctioneers, of Wellington, advertise a sale of buggies, coaches, Ac. A Captain's parade of the Manchester Rifles takes place this evening at the Town Hall, at 7 p.m. Mr Cottle, .lentist, may be consulted at Bellve's Hotel, on Wednesday, 3rd of October. A bullock has been impounded at the Awahuri pound. The same will be sold on October 13 if not previously claimed. A summoned meeting of the Feilding Lodge of Odd Fellows will be held tonight, at 7.30 p.m. Mr Greenwood, dentist, will visit Feilding, at the Denbigh Hotel, on Thursday, 4th October. Mr G. F. Hawkins, solicitor, visits Feilding every Tuesday and Wednesday, and may be consulted at his office, next Hastie's Hotel. A. large number of cattle have been impounded on Mr Hadfield's Kiwitea property. The same will be sold, if not claimed and expenses paid, on the 16th of October. A now advertisement from Mr J. B.
