News is to hand that the ship St. Leonard, bound for New Zealand with emigrants, foundered in the Channel, aft-r a collission with another vessel. All 'be passengers and crew have been landed at Dartmouth. O'Donnell, who was charged with the murder of James Carey, the Irish Informer, has arrived in Plymouth from the Cape, and will shortly be placed on ti'ial. Paris. Sept. 17. Challem etLacour, Minister of Foreign Affairs, has received his conge, and will be replaced in that position by Ferry, the President of the Council. Ihe removal of Challem et Lacour is deemed an indication that the French Government desire to pursue a policy of peace.
