Kiwitea Road Board.
— _*. The ordinary monthly meeting of the Board was held in the Manchester Road Board's office yesterday afternoon, I resent — Messrs Taylor (chairman), Davies, Bryce, Belive and Williamson. The minutes of the previous ordinary meeting were read and confirmed. The following correspondence was also read: — Report of Committee of Oroua County Council re adjustment of accounts between the two bodies. From the Colonial Treasurer's office re certain amounts claimed ai due to the Board. Prom the Crown Lands office re rates on unsold sections in the Wanganui Harbor Board Block. It was resolved that the e'erk take the necessary action at once with reference to the rates due from the Wanganui Harbor Board Block. ! The matter of the Crown Lands office was resolved to stand over till the next meeting. Resolved that the Oroua County Council be requested to push on with all possible speed the work on the Kiwitea road, as the season is fast approaching. A number of accounts amounting to a total of £67 Is 8d were passed for pay- i ment, and the Board adjourned.
