[pEtt UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION ] At ckland, This Day. Captain Haultain, of the ketch Keliance, wasiknocked overboard while the ketch was jibbing early this morning, off Whangarei Heads. He swam for half-an-hour,!cooeying iv vain. He then stripped off his clothes and made for the shore, three miles off, guided by a light. He landed on the beach nearly dead, after swimming three^hours in a heavy sea.
