Wednesday, Sew. 12th, 1883. (Before K. Ward, Esq.. R.M.) CIVIL CABBS. Charles Roe v William Setton. — Claim for £3 6s on judgment summons. >o appearance of defendant. To be paid forthwith, or in default three imprisonment. Charles Roe v G. Hayward.— Claim on judgment summons for £2 ."lOs. Mr Prior stated that defendant had filed his schedule. R. Loudon v F. T. Kenny.— Claim oa judgment summons for £3 18s Bd. To be paid a. £1 per month, or in default 3 days' imprisonment. J. Nathan and Co. v Hamuera. Judgment summons, £18 18s 3d. Mr Perkins appeared for the plaintiffs. So appearance of defendant. To be paid forthwith, or ia default 19 days' imprisonment. Hori Te Mataku v M. Bosen.— Claim for £3 for money lent, &c. Judgment for plaintiff and costs. Capper and Sherwill, trustees in Jones' estate, ▼ Nix.-Claim £1 4s Bd. Defendant denied having received the goods. His Worship advised plaintiffs to accept a nonsuit, which was given with costs for defendant. Capper j and Sherwill v G. Smith. — Claim for £1 2s 2s. Defendant denied having received the goods. T. Jones was called as a witness for plaintiff*, and he asked the R.M. if his expenses would be paid. When told that being sworn he was bound to «,ive evidence if he had. any to give whether paid his expenses or not, he said he knew nothing at all about the case, and had no recollection of the defendant having had the goods. Plaintiffs nonsuited. Capper and Sherwill v R. Price.— Claim for£l 14s lOd. Mr Prior appeared for the defendant. H. L. Sherwill was called, and deposed that he was one of the trustees in the estate of T. Jones. Mr Prior asked for the proof of this, which witness said he had not got with him. Case adjourned till next Court day. A number of cases were settled out of Court. The Court then adjourned.
